The MeNetwork was founded in 2009 by Michael "Spike" Stevens, a seasoned marketing and advertising professional with 20 years of deep experience in design, technology, and user experience innovation. His frustration with the inefficiency and ineffectiveness of both traditional and digital marketing tactics were his inspiration to create MeNetwork.
MeNet was designed to put the power and control of one-to-one marketing back where it belongs: in the hands of business owners, with consumers receiving offers only when they request them. We think we've succeeded.
Our first large-scale partner was Visit Denver, the Denver convention and visitors bureau. In conjunction with this forward-looking organization, we launched MeNetwork city-wide to great success in May 2010. Large-scale launches in San Francisco, Omaha, and New Orleans followed in late 2010 and early 2011, with Austin, San Jose, Philadelphia, and Houston coming onboard in 2012.
Today, MeNetwork is available in over 85 U.S. cities, with more being added every month. Our commitment to providing an elegant, powerful, and non-intrusive mobile marketing platform to merchants and consumers is stronger than ever and guides every aspect of our product development.
